Mitsubishi Fuso Continues 18,000-Mile Service Intervals on 2013 Canter Work Trucks

Logan Township, N.J. — Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) has announced that it will continue its 18,000-mile (30,000-km) service interval for all of its 2013 Canter FE and FG Series medium duty trucks. This service interval applies to all of its class 3–class 5 Canter commercial work trucks, whether standard cab or crew cab, 2WD or 4WD.

According to Todd Bloom, MFTA's president and CEO, "Giving our customers trucks that provide lower cost of ownership has been our goal since we introduced the next-generation 2012 Canters last year. Since then, we've proven our superior fuel economy via independent ATDS testing head to head against our major cabover truck competitor. But that's not the only place where we provide lower cost of ownership. Our 18,000-mile service interval on all models substantially reduces the cost of oil, filters and other routine maintenance items for the life of the vehicle, while making it easier for our customers to keep our exclusive, industry-leading warranty package in full force."
